Ingredients:
2 lbs lean hamburger
1 8 oz can tomato sauce (I prefer Hunts brand)
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 small onion or minced onion equivalent
salt (to taste)
pepper (to taste)
garlic powder (to taste)
Instructions:
Brown hamburger on the stove top. Season with salt, pepper, onion, and garlic powder. When brown, add tomato sauce and chili powder. Mix well. Cook for 1 hour on stove top or in crock pot for 6 hours on low or 2 hours on high.
Note:
I do not put mustard in my sloppy joe's but if you like mustard in your sloppy joe's you could add 1 TBL mustard when you mix the tomato sauce and chili powder in.
